 THE ARCHITECTURE

 OF RHYTHM

The New Release: DROID Coming 2026

A modern evolution of Harmonic Rhythm.

Rhythm is not a metronome; it is the fundamental language of the natural world. From the shifting tides to the recursive patterns of a forest canopy, Amir Ziv’s work—defined as Harmonic Rhythm—seeks to capture these universal pulses. By transforming industrial artifacts and found objects into resonant instruments, Ziv bridges the gap between our mechanical reality and our organic origins.

“Combining jazz, electronic, free, and Brazilian styles, the intriguing New York avant-everything drummer proves there are always new worlds to conquer—in his playing, and in his clinics, classes, and drum-centric getaways. Only the fearless need apply.”

—— Ken Micallef

"A valuable addition to Ornette’s extraordinary discography... [New Vocabulary] is a set of 12 duos, trios, and quartets that explore the outer reaches of harmolodic theory."

—— The Wall Street Journal - Ornette
